Federal Govt close NYSCs Orientation camp all over Nigeria over possible spread of Coronavirus

The federal government of Nigeria has order the close of NYSCs orientation camp across the country over fear of the spread of Coronavirus.

The order come after, Nigeria confirmed third case of Coronavirus in Lagos.

Reacting to the development, Jones FCC said “The closure of NYSC orientation camps across the country, as ordered by the federal government is a commendable preventive measure against a possible outbreak of Corona Virus in our country.

This closure is not a sudden thought. Those, at top levels of government have information that we do not have. My personal fear is that some people who may have come in contact with the three confirmed cases of the virus may have been untraceable and have possibly interacted with a lot more people. I pray, my fears are proven, misplaced.

The government should go a step further by cancelling all inbound flights, especially from countries already affected by the pandemic.”
