The Nigerian Senate suspend public hearings as a result of Coronavirus.
The Senate announced the suspension in today plenary.
The resolution come after, close door meeting headed by the Senate president, Ahmed Lawan.
The Senate also announced that the senate gallery will remained close.
The announcement read:”
- To suspend all public hearings till further notice as a result of the Coronavirus; and
- That the Senate gallery will remain closed to the public till further notice including excursions from schools and other organizations from Tuesday, 24th March, 2020″
