Suleiman Hassan is an Indigene of Kotonkarfe (Igu) the Secretariat of Kogi local government Area (LGA) of Kogi state.
He is a final year medical Student of Ahmedu Bello University (ABU) Zaria.
He was involved in Ghastly Motor accident at Abuja-Lokoja in year 2013, this mean this year will make it 8 years Hassan has been suffering.
The accident reportedly broke his spinal cord, which make life difficult for him.
Hassan has been referred from one hospital to another, because of his inability to finances his medical bills.
He finally landed in FMC, which required him to raise the Sum of N15 Million for urgent surgery in India if he will ever live a normal life again.
Enduring news who feature the news on it website on February this year said “Suleiman Hassan urgently required the Sum 15million naira for a surgery in an Indian Hospital.
Hassan 36 years of age and final year vetenary medical student of Ahmadu Bello University , (ABU) ZARIA was involved in an auto crash along the Abuja-Lokoja highway in 2013.
He sustained Spinal cord injury and was rushed to the Federal Medical Center, Lokoja (FMCL).
Hassan, before his predicament
Hassan was later referred to the Ahamad Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) and later UDUTH after an MRI and a cancelled surgery where he stayed 2years.
Frustrated Hassan requested for a transfer to FMCL for lack of social support.
It was gathered that the Neurosurgeon in FMCL has categorically stated that he cannot carry out the operation.
His history, examination and investigations were sent to India and a feedback assures that something can be done.
However, 15M is required to get to India and Hassan is soliciting for financial support from individuals and cooperate Organizations.

The issue of Suleiman Hassan was not new, to Prominent Egbura Politicians, but they likely turn away from their responsibility.
Report by Abdulmalik disclose that the newly appointed SSA on Security matter to Governor Bello, Hon. Isah Abdulkarim paid a visit to the helpless Suleiman Hassan at FMC Lokoja.

In his report, he said that Abdulkarim paid the outstanding bill of Hassan, and pledged to help him from now on.
The honourable Senior Special Assistant on Security Matters to the governor in charge of Kogi Local Government, Hon. Isah Abdulkarim in his usual philanthropy made a call to the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja on Monday 13th April, 2020.
In this call, the SSA on security matters toured the hospital wards before he finally settled at Suleiman Hassan’s bed, Suleiman who’s one of the most treasured student to come out of Kogi State studying Veterinary at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria was involved in a ghastly accident on his return from school in 2014.
Mr. Suleiman who survived by the intervention of the Almighty, but broke his spinal cord has since been passing through pains, but to the glory of God, he’s also received attentions from some kindhearted and humane individuals who’s helped in settling the bills of this young man.
Hon. ECOMOG spent more than an hour with the young man while he narrates his ordeal with the SSA, the SSA prayed to the Almighty for his quickest recovery and also assured him of his support henceforth. That is commendable of him, but we are calling on him, Commissioner of Mineral and Natural Resources, Engir Abubakar Bashir Gegu, Former Chairman of Kogi LGA, Barr. Tanko Osuku and other Egbura Politicians who are close to Governor Yahaya Bello to please talk to him to help Suleiman Hassan.
