The National moon sighting committee, has announced that the new moon of Shawwal, to mark the end of Ramadan month was not sighted.
The committee in conjunction with Sultanate Council Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs, Chairs by Prof Wali Junaidu, however resolved that 2020 Ramadan fasting to continued tomorrow 23rd of May 2020.
The statement signed by Prof Sambo Wali Junaidu, how ever resolved that 2020 Eid prayer will hold on 24th of May 2020.
