Bundisliga: Today’s Fixtures/Analysis

The bundesliga resumed this weekend with matches taking place across stadiums all over the country

Beginning the weekend was Frieburg who defeated Borussia Mochengladbach 1 goal to nil yesterday. The only goal of the match came in the 58th minute with a goal by N Peterson enough to the give the host a victory right there in the Mage Solar Stadion.

Frieburg has now moved up to 7th place right above Hertha Berlin who plays the last match of today against Borrussia Dortmund who is also looking to continue their good form against a Hertha Berlin side who are undefeated since the restart. Hertha who is not easy to score against these days won their last match against Augsburg 2 goals to nil putting them in a very good position to push for a European position this season. They need to be more watchful now because they face a Dortmund side who’s not afraid of scoring goals, having a player like Jadon Sancho who scored an Hatrick in his last match in their ranks and also with the return of Alex Witsel and Emre Can back from injury victory looks blurry for Hertha Berlin.

Bayern Leverkusen vs Bayern Munich

It was a routine win for the league leaders last weekend not looking twice going on to trample a sorry Fortuna Dusseldorf with good goals from The amazing Robert Lewandowski and Benjamin Pavard who both seem to be unstoppable now. It will also be said that today’s match against B.Leverkusen may look to be another easy tie for them. Bayern Leverkusen may have their biggest task yet, today against a wonderful side in B.Munich .But young stars like Kai Havertz who has so far Scored five goals out of four games since the restart would want to showcase their talent against them with ongoing rumours making the rounds that he is wanted by Bayern Munich.Leverkusen who are pushing for a champions league spot sitting at fifth position won’t have it easy today but still, the game will be tight a draw would be a miracle for Leverkusen but expect Bayern Munich to get all three points.

RB Liepzig vs Paderborn

With players like Timo Werner, Marcel Sabitzer and Patrik Schick giving Leipzig beautiful play on the pitch, firing at all cylinders victory may well be certain already for Leipzig against a side who lost 6 goals to 1 against Dortmund last timeout.

Fortuna Dusseldorf vs Hoffenheim

It was a good timeout for Hoffenheim in their last match when they won against Mainz 05 keeping more pressure on the top 6 positions. But today face a Dusseldorf side who were outclassed by Bayern Munich last weekend. Dusseldorf need more points and Hoffenheim would look to continue their winning form. This match could go either way though, but Hoffenheim would look to get the win.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Mainz 05

This match, considered to be a local derby would definitely have a lot of people sitting on the fence with Frankfurt walking over Werder Bremen through the week and Mainz just being unlucky against Hoffenheim. Both teams are definitely in the battle for survival with Mainz just one point above Dusseldorf would want to avoid being dragged further into a relegation and with Frankfurt winning against Werder Bremen that gave them more breathing space from the summit of the league.
