25th Anniversary: Ohimege Opanda a Quintessential Father, Says Nasarawa Speaker

As the First Class Traditional Ruler of Opanda kingdom HRH Alh.Usman Abdullahi,the Ohimege Opanda,Umaisha Toto LGA of the State clocks 25 years on his ancestral throne today Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly Alh.Ibrahim Balarabe Abdulahi the Wali Opanda,Umaisha has described him as an outstanding monarch whose contributions in all aspects of humanity remains endless.

The speaker in a congratulatory message signed by his Press Secretary Jibrin Gwamna described the monarch as a quintessential father who stands tall among his equals considering his track records in peace,unity and quest for national and societal development.

Balarabe Abdullahi emphasized that Ohimege Opanda as a retired permanent Secretary and one time Commissioner in the then Plateau State has no doubt brought his worth of experience into kingship which gave room for his wonderful achievements in all aspects of humanity.

“History has it,and it is on record that the day Ohimege HRH Alh Usman Abdullahi left Jos,then Plateau State to ascend the throne of his ancestors the people witnessed heavy rain fall which the defiled to welcomed him home,it was a huge blessing on that faithful day as he was received overwhelmed with high ovation because everybody loved and cherished him,as a king we all wanted and he remains a blessing to all of us,indeed a father to all”the Speaker said.

“I pray Almighty Allah to continued to protect him,give him more of long life in good health and wisdom to continued walking in the part of destiny and lead us aright…AGABA-IDU”.Wali Opanda added.

The Nasarawa State Number One lawmaker,the Wali Opanda who represent Umaisha Ugya State constituency went down memory lane and described Ohimege Opanda Usman Abdullahi as a royal father which is one out of many calling on his people to continued to support him with prayers and understanding to enable the monarch build on the solid foundation he has put in place so far.

He reaffirmed the state assembly’s commitment to give traditional institutions and other arms of government all the needed support for the betterment of the entire state.
