EPL RESULTS: Anthony Martial bags a hat trick as Manchester United defeated Sheffield United, Liverpool shows class Against Palace.

Manchester United 3-0 Sheffield United

It was an amazing night for Martial as he scored his first career Hat trick In an amazing United win at Old Trafford against Sheffield United. United continued their good spanning 13 matches,yet to be defeated. Anthony Martial opened scoring when he met a Rashford cross with a close range finish in the 7th minute. It was almost the same routine again in the 44th minute when a cross from the right flank by Aaron Wan Bissaka was turned in again by Martial the first half ended with United on top. On return to second half Anthony Martial completed his hat trick in the 74th minute, finishing off a great move from Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba who were in the starting line for United for the first time.

Man United has now scored 33 goals from 13 undefeated games conceding just 3. It solidified their hold of the fifth spot moving back to three points behind fourth placed Chelsea who plays Man city today. This is the First time A player has scored a Hat trick for United since Alex Ferguson retired in 2013 the last player to do so was Robin Van persie.

Liverpool 4-0 Crystal Palace

Liverpool were unstoppable at Anfield Yesterday as they went like the wind passed Palace in a Four goal to nothing triumph,now moving within touching distance to winning their first league title in three decades. Defender Trent Alexander-Arnold opened scoring (23) with a delectable Free-kick midway through the first half setting the foundation for a sweet victory for The Reds. The returning Mohammed Salah was set up nicely by Fabinho grabbing his goal his goal just prior to half time making the victory certain for Liverpool in what was a horror show for Palace at Anfield. The return to he second half saw Fabinho going for Power as he Increased Liverpool’s lead to three just before the hour mark. The coffin was sealed for Palace by Sadio Mane in the 69th minute a throughball from Salah allowed him a free run on goal burying the ball past Hennessey. It was a good comeback for Liverpool who looked below par in the previous game against Everton. Now all attention turns to Stamford Bridge to see if Man City would be able to Extend Liverpool’s wait for a title if they are able to defeat The Blues. Liverpool extends their winning run at home this season to 16 games.

In other results, Newscastle United shared the spoils with Aston Villa at the St. James’ Park as the encounter ended in a 1all draw. Norwich City suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to Everton as relegation door opens more wider for them to pass through.
And Finally, Wolverhampton Wanderers won the battle at home to AFC Bournemouth as they defeated Bournemouth 1 goal to nil. Jimenez getting the goal in the 60th minute.
