PDP only interested in Edo treasury, Ganduje

Abdullahi Ganduje, the Chairman of the APC National Campaign Council, has said that opposition party, PDP is only interested in Edo State treasury.

Ganduje said that PDP accommodated Godwin Obaseki, the governor of Edo State, only because he is in charge of the state treasury.

He made this known while addressing news reporters after the inauguration of the campaign council at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja, on Monday.

He went further to say that APC was not bothered in any way about the PDP National Campaign Council led by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State. This, according to him, is because the APC has a candidate who has all it takes to win the governorship election.

APC’s candidate, Osagie Ize-Iyamu would, amongst other major contenders, face Obaseki, who recently decamped from APC to PDP.
