Speaking to Omokoshaban sports, Flick admitted that his number nine has done everything possible to be a leading candidate to win the prestigious individual award.

“Fifty one goals are already strong enough to put right up there” . ” if i measure for goals now and i see that he has scored 34 goals in the Bundesliga this year, then you can think about how a player from the Bundesliga can become the Ballon d’Or winner. So why not? He has laid all the ground work with this achievement this year and i would wish him well.”

It was not long ago when Lewandowski was agitating for a move away from the Bavaria. However, the German club was in no mood to lose their talisman in the attack to one of thier European rivals. The Pole took the failure to get a move to the chin and contributed to the team’s success last season.
