Local Government chairman dies of COVID-19
It has been confirmed that the Local Government chairman of Barkin Ladi LGA of Plateau State, Mr Ezekiel Mandyau, died of complications arising from COVID-19.
This was made known by Dr Nimkong Lar, the Commissioner for Health in Plateau state. He revealed that test results carried out on the deceased after his demise confirmed him positive for the disease.
The Commissioner said
“We conducted a test after his demise and when the result came out, it was positive.
That is what happened and we have already communicated the test results to the family”.
