Federal Government of Nigeria has agree to pay private schools teachers salaries for the duration which the Lockdown cause by coronavirus will last.
The information was contained in a report made available by Zarah Oyinye via her Facebook wall.
According to her, the government will also made available single digits to private schools owner across the country to cover the lose profit the schools have lost during the Lockdown.
She said “The Federal Government have agreed to pay the salary of private school teachers for the duration of the lock down. The private school to benefit are those up to date with their tax payment. The number of school staff and salary will be determined through their PFA to avoid fraud and falsification”
“Single digits loans would be made available for school owners to cover the loss of profits; Support the private school with safety kits necessary to curb the spread of COVID-19 within the school environment.”
