One of the Kidnapper terrorising Kogi Kotonkarfe Local Government Area (LGA) of Kogi State killed this morning following the exchange of gun fire between the Kidnapper and the vigilantes groups.
Mubarak who give the report, disclosed that SSA on security to Kogi Governor is present at the time of onslaught.
He further disclosed some of the Kidnappers escape with serious gun wound.

One gunned down, several others fled with various degrees of injuries sustained in a gun battle between the vigilante team and the suspected kidnappers.
The Senior Special Assistant on Security Matters to Kogi Local Government, Hon. Isah Abdulkarim was also right at the scene to repel the recent attack.
Hon. ECOMOG has continue to lead the charge in the fight against insurgence in the local government, and while expressing his delight in the commitment of the vigilante team, he also advised all Koton Karfe indigenes to remain calm while efforts are in top gears to stop the incessant killings and kidnapping in the area.
