‪BREAKING: Magu released from detention. ‬

The suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and financial crime commission, (EFCC) Ibrahim Magu has regained freedom after been held for over 5 days for questions for alleged Corruption.

Magu was released on Wednesday 15th of July 2020.

He was released few hours after Nigeria police denied detaining him.

Recall that police had claimed that Magu was being held by a presidential panel probing him for mismanaging recovered loots.

He was arrested on July 6, 2020 by security forces to answer questions by the panel headed by a former Appeal Court judge, Ayo Salami, and had remained in detention since that period.
