Tottenham took Leicester to the cleaners, defeating Brendan Rodgers’ men 3-nil on Sunday putting their UCL hopes on the line.
Tottenham produced their best run if matches in the EPL since moving into the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium of four consecutive Home wins.
Things were bad almost from the beginning for Leicester, falling a goal down in the 6th minute when a Son Heung-min’s shot was deflected by James Justin for an own goal.
Harry Kane good form continued as he scored another brace for a second consecutive outing providing a good left foot shot past Schemiechel for Spurs Second in the 37th and another with his Right foot five minutes to half time.
Spurs climb above Wolves into sixth place with this victory while Leicester remains level on point with Man United sitting just above them on goal difference in fourth. United have an opportunity to go ahead of them if they could avoid a defeat against West Ham on Wednesday. It is certain that the UCL Battle will get to final day.
