Gal Pissetzky, Hushpuppi’s lawyer, has spoken about his alleged release. He revealed that his client has not been released.
He said that the suspect was instead, transferred to another prison.
This is coming following rumours that Hushpuppi had been released, as his status on the US Federal Bureau of Prisons website indicated that he was no longer in prison.
He said that the website only showed “released” because of his transfer from Chicago to another facility in California.
