Social media activist writes about BBNaija’s Kiddwaya and his father, Terry Waya

“Whenever I see Kiddwaya flirting with the prettiest women inside Big Brother House, it reminds me so much of his famous billionaire socialite dad, Terry Waya.

Terry for my generation that were younger when he was the life of the social circuit is a man that the ladies were in love with and he had them drolling and fawning just to have his attention.

And the reason was not far fetched:

He is rich, very rich in true sense of the world.

He hardly appears in Public if he is not wearing Gucci or Versace. and was the Hushpuppi of our parent’s generation.

He is also known as ‘Mr Versace’ because of his love for Versace who he has had to make customized accessories for him long before Hushpuppi was born.

The only difference was that there was no Instagram during his heydays but the man lived and loved life.

Even as there was no Instagram those days, he had what was the closest to Instagram Ovation magazine at his beck and call, covering and bringing to the attention of the public his baby boys life.

TERRY WAYA is one Nigerian who’s unapologetic about living large. When he celebrated his 40th birthday at The Meridien Hotel in Piccadilly, London, on June 9, 2001, the high society of Nigeria shifted base to England.

Terry Waya is known by many as an unrepentant socialite, who is notorious for partying around the world, usually in the company of Governors, Senators, Elites and close associates like the Chargoury brothers.

Terry Waya is from Benue State in Mbayongo where a church collapsed in 2012 during Easter eve killing parishioners.

Terry Waya who has kids from different women that includes Kiddwaya’s mum later got married to a woman named Eno and they have a son.

So many of us who knew him back them had forgotten who about him till his ladies man son Kiddwaya appeared inside the Big brother house and all eyes turned on Terry Waya.

People who have forgotten him suddenly remembered him, his love for the finest women of his generation and his flamboyant lifestyle.

I went to check out his Instagram page, he is the old Terry Waya that so many of us knew back then, still loud, a man that loves flaunting his wealth but not as popular as he used to be , older and subdued.

Apparently life has happened to him, the way it happened to all of us and i was reminded more than any other time that nothing lasts forever, not even Terry Waya of this world.

Seeing his son flirting with the finest women inside Big Brother house with no plan to commit to any one reminds me that a lion does not give birth to a goat.

Kidwayya may not be as rich as his Father was but man is a play boy and the true son of his father.

A chip off the old block is more appropriate to say and I think I’m right.”
