Europa League Review: Lukaku helps Inter Milan into their first Semi-final in 10 years.

 

Inter Milan moved into the Europa League Semi finals with a 2-1 victory over Bayern Leverkusen in the quarter final clash at the Dusseldorf arena.

Inter Milan went in front when Nicolo Barella got a goal in the 15th minute which was doubled up by Romelu Lukaku who got his goal in the 21st minute after he rose over a challenge on him by Edmond Tapsoba giving Conte’s men the lead.

The margin was cut short when Chelsea linked, Kai Havertz who may well have played his last game for Bayern got the equaliser in the 24th minute.

Inter were Denied two penalties in course of the game but those were inmaterial as they got the needed goal to take a place in the Semi Finals of this year’s UEL competition were they may face Shakhtar Donetsk or Basel for a place in the August 21st final.
