Commissioner for Information and Communications Kingsley Fanwo, said on Thursday in Lokoja while hosting the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) Commissioner in-charge of Kogi, Chile Ogwuegbu, who led team officials on a sensitisation tour.
The ICPC leader praised the ministry for the warm reception, saying that the objective was to seek collaboration with the ministry, being the voice of government.
He pleaded with the government to set up its anti-corruption and transparency unit in every ministry, agency and parastatal.
Fanwo said the government of Governor Yahaya Bello had done better than any of its predecessors, in setting up an internal anti-corruption combat system to ensure integrity and accountability amongst the people of kogi state.
