Acting VC for UNILAG, Soyombo, steps down
The acting VC for UNILAG, Prof Omololu Soyombo, has stepped down “with immediate effect”.
This is coming after the Federal Government directed on Friday that the University of Lagos Senate should nominate an acting Vice-Chancellor.
Last week, the governing council led by the Pro-Chancellor, Dr Wale Babalakin, had appointed Soyombo after it sacked Prof Oluwatoyin Ogundipe.
