Chelsea are currently undergoing a week of announcing new signings.
After confirming a deal to sign Ben Chilwell from Leicester City earlier in the week, Chelsea announced the signing of 21-year old French centre back Malang Sarr yesterday.
Whilst Chilwell was a Lampard priority signing for the left back position, Sarr has been signed to then go out on loan and be a player for the future.
Next up will be Thiago Silva, who The Telegraph have confirmed that Chelsea have signed and the announcement should be today (Friday).
But Chelsea could also announce another new signing today, the long awaited arrival of Kai Havertz.
This is according to The Guardian, the German international could be confirmed by Chelsea by the end of this week.
There could be confirmations of his arrival today, but it is likely that an official announcement for Havertz will arrive on Saturday, especially if Silva is being announced today.
