Today, I woke up with tears looking back how far we’ve gone with several success story without GRANT and FUNDS from any organization.
I can vividly remember the day I left Asaba to Nnewi Anambra State to rescue Ebube, a 14-year old girl already a mother married out to a 65-year-old man.
Also Chidinma who @bbirights rescued, she was drugged, raped and impregnated by her biological father who later took her to a hospital where abortion was carried out.
I can’t forget 13yr old Onyiye who was defiled by stepfather in a bid to traffic her to Italy for prostitution.
We encountered difficulty, we fought and they were rescued from sex slave, child marriage and child prostitution.
We didn’t STOPPED 🚫. Their violators where all arrested and prosecuted. We went further by providing them full rehabilitation through the support of Hilary Ibegbulem (Principal Secretary to Delta State Governor).
I can’t fail to mention the following people who sacrifice their time, money and network.
Barr. Ajuebor Favour who offered his services for free and several times travelled to Awka.
@Mercy Akrokah who took in the victims and cared for them.
@Oluchi who’s currently working as caregiver and mother to the three.
