FFK slammed Daily Trust with ₦6bn lawsuit
Daily Trust and a public affairs analyst are facing threat of being sued by the former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode.
This is in connection with an article which referred to FFK as a drug addict. After the unpleasant encounter of Fani-Kayode with a reporter in Calabar, the news outlet published an article titled: “FFK, The Drug Addled Thug In Designer Wears” on August 29, 2020.
The piece, which was authored by Iliyasu Gadu, took Fani-Kayode, who was educated at the University of London and Cambridge University, to the cleaners and painted him as a spoilt, privileged, drug wielding politician.
