Woman stabs lover to death in Delta State

Within the space of a week, another woman has stabbed her lover to death.

A 22-year-old woman identified as Hope David was arrested by men of the Delta State Police Command for allegedly stabbing 24-year-old Justice Esiri to death.

Reports have it that the ugly incident happened at about 1 pm on Thursday, September 3, in Abraka, Ethiope East council area of the state.

We gathered that the lovers had a misunderstanding, which escalated to a fight in which Hope stabbed Justice with a kitchen knife.

The victim was reportedly rushed to the General Hospital, Abraka, but was confirmed dead by a doctor.

DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, the Spokesperson for the command, who confirmed the incident said that the suspect is in police custody.
