“It is a good development that the Orhiomwon LGA results which had created a little hiccup in the on-going collation and declaration of results of the Edo State gubernatorial election has now been resolved peacefully.
Before now, this situation would have led to the call of the fabled “inconclusive election”. Kudos to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
I want to commend President Muhammadu Buhari for demonstrating leadership. I believe his statesmanship in instructing that there must be credible polls is what has given us this level of transparency.
