Did Sharia Law Also Provide Immunity for Governors, as Nigeria law Provide for Ganduje who was caught collecting Bribe?

Video evidence of Kano State governor, Abdullahi Ganduje collecting bribes, from a contractor he awarded state contract to, is in very conner of Nigeria and the world.

The governor as Muslim man has did everything possible to make sure Sharia law is enforced in his State, Kano.

In the middle of last year, the governor, enacted a law to ban men and women boarding the same tricycles, but the law was put onhold over outcry by Nigerians.

Current trending story was that of musician and a teenage boy.

The musician was sentence to death for blasphemy, after his father house were set ablaze by the youth.

The little boy was also sentence to some years in prison for blasphemy against prophet Muhammad.

Their sentence may seem to be in accordance with the Sharia law as Muslim.

The governor has in recent time say that he will have no hesitation is signings the death sentence if was brought to him.

Now, as a Muslim man caught collecting bribes, the sharia law also specify cutting of the hand of the person involved.

So the punishment of governor Abdullahi Ganduje Is chopping off his hand if Sharia law were to be enforced on him.

Now what we I don’t understand, is did Sharia law provide Immunity for criminal governors in Nigeria as the Nigeria law did?
