Nigeria army has wrongly credited Nassarawa State government on the opening of road leading to Uttu Forest.
Army in a statement made available 4 days ago tank Nassarawa State government over the road which was actually sponsors by Egbura National Development Association (ENDA).
According to army, it was a pleasure of the military for the state government to adhere to their advise by opening the road.
However, ENDA has come out to clear the air on who actually opened the road
ENDA in statment made available to Omokoshaban said “the attention of Egbura National Development Association (ENDA) has been drawn to some misleading information been circulated in Social media by Some enemies of ENDA, that the rehabilitation of UTTU road,Toto Local Government Area,Nassarawa State —-To OKPAREKYE in Igu Kingdom,Kogi State as Nassarawa State Government’s project is to be disregarded by public.
UTTU—OKPAREKYE road project is solely initiated and supervise by Egbura National Development Association (ENDA)the claim by our detractors that the road under construction is Nassarawa state government’s project, shouldn’t be taken serious.The noble project’s source of fund is realized from the contributions by our concern Egbura Sons and daughters all over Egbura Nation,the project which is regarded as a community project, means a lot to Egbura Nation.
The Nassarawa State government,Toto Local government Area and Kogi State government,Koton karfe Local government Area has never contributed a dime towards this noble cause for now.
I therefore plead to the perpetrators of this fake news to henceforth desist from further spread of the unfounded news.”
