Buhari Ordered Lekki Massacre – Tinubu

A former governor of Lagos and founding leader of the All Progressives Congress has blamed the massacre carried out by officers of the Nigerian Army against unarmed, peaceful and patriotic protesters at Lekki tollgate on the Commander-in-chief, President Muhammadu Buhari.

Tinubu, whose voice was unmistakable in a leaked phone conversation between him and an angry young lady who called to complain about the high-handedness of the Nigerian military said that it is only the Commander-in-chief who could have ordered the military to descend on protesters the way they did.

When asked why he had to send the military to disperse the protesters with maximum force, Tinubu simply responded with; “Am I the Commander-in-chief?”

The undisputed godfather of Lagos politics, Tinubu’s influence in the Nigerian power circles is far-reaching, and most Lagosians and Nigerians believe that he has been remotely controlling Lagos politics from his Bourdillon palace for the past two decades.
