CAN, Muslim Council frowns at destruction of Government properties palliatives looted

The two religious body in the state has expressed their dissatisfaction at the incidence that took place on Sunday 25 October 2020 where youths in Jalingo Metropolis and some parts of the state stormed government and public properties and caused unqauntifyed damages.

Rev Isaiah Jerepye who spoke on behalf of the two faith said it is worrisome that those who are been groomed to take over the leadership of the nation in the future will go to this extent,he condemned the act and ask that they restraint from such. He called on the youths to always express their grievances in a manner which will be understood rather than causing more harm to them selves and the state.

The Deputy Governor in his reaction said he was equally dismayed with such attitude and wished that they channeled their dissatisfaction in an appropriate manner ,he however called on them to avoid such act as it is liable to caused a major set back in the strives of development in the state. Manu appreciated the religious body and urged them to continue praying for the state and nation at large for greater days ahead.
