Osun State Govt didn’t hoard Covid-19 items, We are waiting for the Remaining Rice Before distribution – Gov Adegboyega

Osun State Governor, Adegboyega has said that his state didn’t hoard covid-19 palliative.

The Governor say this as he received some Osun State Elders in his office today in the state capital.

The governor said the reason the covid-19 palliative were still in the warehouse, is because the state government are waiting to receive the remaining rice of the palliative from CACOVID office in Abuja.

He said “This morning, I received some Osun elders, who were led by former governor and our father, Chief Bisi Akande, on a solidarity visit over the recent sad incidents in the State including the attempt on my life and the wanton looting and destruction of property across the State by hoodlums and miscreants.

I appreciated our elders for their visit and also seized the opportunity to make clarification on the palliatives donated to the State by CACOVID. I told them that the State Government didn’t hoard the items; we were only waiting for CACOVID office in Abuja to donate the rice component and officially flag off the distribution.”
