Soldiers in a viral videos assaulting residents of Oyo state have been arrested
The soldiers who were spotted in a viral videos assaulting lady and some residents of Beere in Ibadan, Oyo State has been arrested.
The soldiers were arrested yesterday 1st of November 2020.
On the Videos, one soldier was spotted flogging a lady while another is busy cut the hair of some guys in the area.
The Soldiers allegedly carried out the act over what they describe as indecent’ dressing.
Omokoshaban learn that after the harassment, the soldiers allegedly collected money from them.
They were arrested Following the public outcry.
The Oyo State commissioner for youth, Mr. Seun Fakorede that disclose the arrested on Twitter stated that the soldiers has been arrested and taken to barrack.

”My ears are full with news of the unlawful activities of some Soldiers of the Nigerian Army, over the weekend. I have immediately reached out to the Commandant of the Operation Burst and I’ve been assured that the men involved in this distasteful operation have been arrested and taken to the barracks — they will be dealt with accordingly. This will not repeat itself again in Oyo State. Please, kindly go about your daily business and activities without fear. Thank you.”
