There is nothing wrong with Arabic Inscription on our Bank notes – Senator Shehu Sani

Senator Shehu Sani has reacted on suite filed against Apex Bank of Nigeria, demanding the removal of Arabic inscription on Naira note.

Shehu Sani, former Kaduna Senator said “There is nothing wrong with Arabic Inscription on our Bank notes.Its not a Qur’anic or religious text but a translation of what is written in English.If you have any other Inscription you want added to the existing ones there,suggest it to the CBN.Until we developed our own inscription like the Ethiopians,all the alphabet we use on our Bank notes are foreign.”
