A group of armed robbers engaged in a gun battle between some vigilante group in Ubiaja town, Esan South Local Government Area of Edo State.
The incident happened on Saturday night, December 5, 2020.
According to report, the robbers went to rob a popular Ogbeide hospital on Saturday night when they were accosted by the vigilante. One of them were reportedly killed while the others were apprehended.
It was gathered that the robbers opened fire on the vigilante immediately they sighted them from afar, bit it didn’t end well for them.
Radio Esan, a Facebook who shared the news on Sunday afternoon wrote:
“Breaking News
Vigilantes group crashed with arm robbers in Ubiaja last night on a gun exchange, one of the robbers died on a spot why the rest were apprehended.

They all Esan people.”
