Catholic Priest Kidnapped By Gunmen On His Way To His Father’s Burial

A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Valentine Oluchukwu Ezeagu was kidnapped by gunmen while on his way to Anambra state for his father’s burial.

The incident happened on Tuesday, December 15 at Umulolo, Arondizougu.

According to report, the Priest was travelling to his village at Igboukwu in Aguata LGA, Anambra State when four gunmen came out from the bush at Umulolo in Arondizougu and forced him into the trunk of their car before speeding off.

It was gathered that his late father’s vigil Mass is to hold on Wednesday, Dec 16, and his funeral on Thursday, Dec 17.

The Generalate is asking for prayers for his “immediate release” so that he can attend his father’s funeral.
