U.S Condemns Kidnapping of Students in Kankara, Katsina, Call for their Immediate Released

The United of America has condemned the kidnapping of over 600 schools children in Katsina State by Boko Haram member.

Recall that Over 600 secondary schools children were on the 11th of December abducted in Katsina State by suspected bandits.

A days after it was alleged that they were kidnapped by bandits, Boko Haram terrorist leader, Abubakar Shekau release audio tape claiming responsibility of the abduction.

Today, after claiming the responsibility, Boko Haram released video showing the abducted school children.

Reacting to the development via Facebook page of U.S mission to Nigeria, the U.S government called for immediate released of the abducted children, and those behind the kidnapped brought to book

The post read “The United States Condemns the Kidnapping of Students in Kankara, Nigeria.

The United States condemns the violent kidnapping of over 300 boys from the Government Secondary Science School in Kankara, Katsina State on December 11. We offer our sincere sympathies to the families of the missing students and the security guard killed in the attack. School should be a safe place where children can learn and thrive.

The boys must be returned to their families immediately and those responsible for this attack held accountable to the full extent of the law.”
