Sumsung vices chairman Jail over Corruption

Lee Jae-young has been sentence to jail over Corruption.

The de facto chief of South Korea’s Samsung business empire get two and half years jailed sentence on Monday 18th January 2021 over a corruption scandal.

Yonhap news agency reported, in a ruling that deprives the tech giant of its top decision-maker.

Lee Jae-yong, is the vice-chairman of Samsung Electronics, the world’s biggest smartphone and memory chip maker.

He was found guilty of bribery and embezzlement and was immediately taken into custody, Yonhap said.
