Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom escape death after unknown gunmen open fire on his convoy.
The governor convoy was attacked along Tyomu community in Makurdi Local Government Area of the State on Saturday.
Omokoshaban gathered that Ortom was said to be returning from Gboko when his was attacks along Makurdi-Gboko highway in the afternoon.
Witnesses said there was a heavy exchange of gunfire between the attackers and the governor’s security detail.
Despite two source has confirmed the report to newsmen, the Governor is yet to address media about the development
