Kogi State governorship ambition come 2023

In what seems to be a series of thoughts growing in the minds of Kogites on daily basis as 2023 is fast approaching; there have been some recurrent and sustained arguments that the opposition in Kogi state is still a one man’s effort (he, Musa Wada)

You see, Kogi state situation has become more like a salty delicacy garnished with under performance due to lack of government capacity to deal with the current contemporary complexities of governance in the state.

It is five years into the new-direction led administration in Kogi state, and the public trust in the government of Kogi state is fast declining alongside a growing perception of lacking political inclusion. This is hardened by negative state economic impact caused by the goverment of the state, and a sense of undelivered political dividends to the people.

Speaking further, Kogites and other indigenous Nigerians dwelling in Kogi state have been commendding the efforts of the PDP Gubernatorial candidate for the 2019 Kogi state election for his prompt and innovatively speaking up against the injustice meted on the people, and also commending him for not leaving the side of the masses despite going through series of litigation to restore the people’s hope at the Kogi state election petitions in 2020.

Musa Wada who always describe the condition of Kogi state as a crumbling edifice on the edge of collapse if nothing is done, still has the masses trust as their salvationist. and the people still look up to him as the strongest opposition to the APC led administration in Kogi state.

Many in the state_as well as the supporters of APC it self believes in Engr Musa Wada as a core marker of success for the future of Kogi state.

In many cross sections of arguments, he is believed to have the capacity of uniting kogites of all ethnics and bringing back the people’s trust on governance through his detailed clear roadmap, inclusive approach and a robust communication strategy in securing a collective buy-in for the state’s short, medium and long term development aspirations.
