From finding from a correspondent in the school, a student died at about 9 pm yesterday. The real reason of the death was not yet to be confirmed. Though, it was alleged that it was a snake bite.
And she was rushed to the hospital and she was asked to get her identities before she could be attended to. All efforts to convince them proof abortive. When the situation of the lady got worsen, she was attended to and was allegedly refered to another religious based hospital where lady was allegedly died.
Students staged a riot demanding for VC to come address the students and the VC sent representative but rejected by the students union.
When the situation was getting out of hands …the school authority gave till 12 noon tomorrow for all the st6udent to vacate the school till further notice.
Meanwhile, the student union was allegedly vow to continue with the protest tomorrow.
You will recalled that the student union was ban for years at OAU and the ban was just lifted some weeks back.
It’s also important to know that the students are currently writing their exams before this incident broke out.
