Dream Come Through

DREAMS COME THROUGH. (by Goodness Wilson)

“All our dreams can come through if we have the courage to pursue them”, so said the popular Walt Disney, and my story is nothing short of that truth.

It’s been over 3 weeks since I arrived the United Kingdom to continue in the pursuit of my academic prowess and I must say it has been quite a journey up until now. My name is Goodness Wilson and I am from Imo state, Nigeria.

I have worked hard, stressed sore, cried deep, felt like giving up, laughed loud, fallen and rose again, got helped by some and despaired by others, made mistakes and utilized some other opportunities, and so on. I’m not surprised at where I am now, though I came from a humble background but I have always believed I am built for something and someplace bigger. I know I am made to be a voice to the voiceless, a beacon of hope to the disadvantaged, a source of motivation and inspiration to the faint-spirited; I believe all of God’s word and promises for my life, this has been my major driving force.

I know the road is not going to be all smooth, but I am further committed to diligently tread this path that will build in me the skills, knowledge and capacity to become a ‘Global Health’ Practitioner to help and care for humanity.

God has been my support, provider and defense and as His ambassador of Light, I represent Christ everywhere I go.

My sincerest gratitude to my amazing family, close and distant friends, whose words of prayer and encouragement have proven invaluable to me; my selfless financial supporters who demanded nothing only that I be the very best; all my critics whose words and attitudes towards me had put me on my toes to sharpen my sensitivity, strategy and perfection. I love and appreciate you all.
