Less than 12 hours after Atiku Abubakar pick Wike as his running mate, Peter Obi former Anambra State Governor, has declared his interest to contests for 2023 Presidential election.
Peter Obi who is the running to Atiku Abubakar in 2018 general election that was later lost to President Muhammadu Buhari made his intentions Known via Twitter handle.
However, Obi set condition that will make him to contests for the election.
His condition was that, PDP which is his Party should Zone Presidential ticket to the South.
He said
Yes, I will step into the field to contest for the opportunity to serve this great country as President if my party, the @OfficialPDPNig, zones the ticket to the south. But if it is thrown open, Nigerians will also hear from me. -PO
