High Court in Abuja Stroke Out and dismissed CBN case against Trove

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has struck out Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN case against Trove, and other Fintech company in Nigeria.

The court direct the Apex bank to unfreeze the bank account of Trove and other 3 Fintech company frozen since last year by CBN.

The case was struck out and dismissed on the 23rd of February 2022, According to circular message sent to all Trove customer, signed by Oluwatomi Solanke.

The messages revealed that CBN had on August 17th 2021 froze Trove Bank account and other 3 Fintech company in Nigeria.

Dear Customer,

As you may recall, on August 17, 2021, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) froze the bank accounts of Trove and 3 other fintechs in Nigeria.

We are pleased to announce that on February 23, 2022, the Federal High Court in Abuja completely struck out & dismissed the case against Trove.

We would like to thank all our amazing users and we look forward to building a bigger future for you.
