Friends and family are mourning one Musa Momoh Tunde, a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), who slumped and died at the Orientation Camp in Dakingari, Kebbi State.
It was gathered that Tunde, a Public Administration graduate of the Federal Polytechnic Bida, passed away on Friday evening, March 26, during one of the inter-platoon football matches.
The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Major-General Shuaibu Ibrahim, confirmed the death in a statement while commiserating with the deceased’s family.
The DG in his condolence message presented by Bar. Ahmed Tijjani described the deceased as a young patriotic Nigerian who died while in active service to the nation.
Meanwhile, the corps member has been laid to rest at Kebbi State Central cemetary according to Islamic rite.
