The photo of young Christian lady that was killed today in Sokoto State hits online.
The female students identify as Deborah was killed and her body set Ablaze by some irate Muslim youths who accused her of insulting Prophet Muhammad.
According to some details release that may have led to the incident, believed to her started from Whatapp group.
In a WhatsApp chat, Deborah was heard lamenting in Hausa language to a religious broadcast message sent by another student to her class’ WhatsApp group.
In a loose translation, she said, “This group chat was not created for you to be sending nonsense. It is for past questions, updates about tests or other school matters. Not for nonsense or some rubbish prophet.”
It was gathered the usage of the phrase “nonsense prophet” might have angered the angry attackers and propelled the fatal assault against her.
Nigerians are calling for Justice for Deborah.
