I declare to contest Under Duress- Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige say as he withdrawn from Presidential Race to avert Resignation

The Nigerian Minister of Labour and empowerment, Mr. Chris Ngige has withdrawn from 2023 Presidential Race.

Ngige withdrawn as the deadline given to them to resign is fast approaching.

Recall that Naijablog earlier report that President Muhammadu Buhari has given all his minster interested in 2023 election should resign.

According to the president, 16th of May 2022 is the deadline for all of them who is contesting for any political office to resign.

As Akpbio, Amaechi and others has tender their resignation letter, Ngige said he will consult with the people of his constituency before taken any action.

However, this afternoon, 13th of May 2022, Ngige in a Press release stated that he has withdrawn from the presidential race.

In the letter, Ngige explain further that he declared to contest under duress.
