Private Gloria was travelling with her late fiancee, Linus, alongside her brother, her 10-year-old daughter, Linus’s brother and Uncle and her mum from Lagos to Orlu when they were ambushed by gunmen in Orlu.

They were ordered to highlight from the vehicle before Gloria, ignorant of the gunmen, told the gunmen that she was a soldier. Her brother who understood who the gunmen were shouted at her and told the gunmen that she was not soldier but somone going for her marriage in the village.

The gunmen then called for backup and immediately shot and killed Linus, his brother and his uncle before their mum. They also wanted to kill Gloria’s brother but later spared him. They also spared Gloria’s daughter after her mum narrated that she was born before Gloria joined the army.

Gloria was then abducted to an unknown destination.

After Gloria’s sister learnt of the incident, she kept dialing Gloria’s number. Someone later picked the number and informed her that Gloria was killed and buried. She asked him how her sister was killed and the person asked her to look at the whatsapp status on her sister’s phone.

When she did, she found the video of her sister being beheaded.

For those who still believe it happened in Cameroon, the video has been checked by forensic experts outside Nigeria and confirmed to be real and unedited.
