Dear Ms. Attamah,

Congratulations on your selection as an intern at the Frontier Culture Museum. Please see attached the internship acceptance letter.

I am happy to announce that I have been offered an Internship/Fellowship opportunity at the Frontier Culture Museum, Virginia, as a Frontline Costumed Interpreter, working on Developmental Marketing and Education.

The Frontier Culture Museum is the biggest open air museum in the Shenandoah Valley, Staunton Virginia that operates on 200 acres of land, where it features eleven historic exhibits, to include traditional rural buildings from Europe, Africa, and America.

The museum is the creator of the Igbo Village in Staunton, Virginia (also known as the 1700s West African Farm exhibit) as one of its Permanent Exhibit. The Igbo Village is a tangible recognition of the contributions of Igbo victims of the Atlantic slave trade to the development of Virginia and the greater American frontier culture.
Amongst other exibits are the American Farm. English Farm, Irish Farm and German Farm.

Currently, the village is in the process of being moved to a different better location and better sustainable structures which can stand the weather built.

I am here to work with the amazing team of the Museum to achieve the best possible results.

Stay stuned.

It’s going to be about the Frontier Culture Museum all through the summer.  Follow the page for updates.
