2023: Denial of Igbo presidency will come with consequences – Ohanaeze

The body of Igbo socio-cultural organization, called Ohanaeze Ndigbo speak on the outcome of APC Presidential Primary election were Bola Ahmed Tinubu elected as presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Tinubu was this afternoon declared winner of the APC presidential primary after he polled 1271 votes to beat his closest rival, Rotimi Amaechi and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, who polled 316 and 235, respectively.

In a statement by Ohanaeze Secretary-General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, he said the refusal of the leading political parties to give presidential ticket to the South-East would come with consequences.
