Hon. Ishaya Bakano, the deputy leader of Song Local Government Legislative Council, Adamawa state, has been killed by unknown gunmen.
It was gathered that the lawmaker was killed by a gang of armed men in the early hours of Saturday, who also shot the son of the deceased.
The state police spokesperson, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, has confirmed the sad incident.
