I cannot readily remember now any Nigerian, dead or alive, who, not being a human rights lawyer like Gani Fawehinmi, has not abandoned any Nigerian citizen to the bullying of the Nigerian police!
Sowore is the first to look for anyone abducted by the police or the DSS, be it a journalist or a lawyer or any other class of citizens, even when their professional or class colleagues haven’t summoned the courage to, he is the last to leave; sometimes he stays out late to keep vigil to see that the incarcerated is free. Nigerians can’t pay you but history will.
