I’m Back, Stronger, Incarcerated Lawyer Tweets After Release

Human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, who was sent to prison for one month by the Chief Judge of Akwa Ibom State, Ekaette Obot, for contempt of court, has been released.
After his release, he took to his Twitter handle to state his commitment to fighting the forces of oppression.

Effiong said, “I am back, stronger and more determined to confront the forces of oppression and to continue to speak nothing but the hard truth to the faces of the oppressors of our people. I feel sorry for those who thought they can break my spirit by incarcerating me.”
